Cool-Air Trucking LLC is owned and operated by Vince Meyer and Ira Glassberg, two experienced truck drivers with a combined 55 years experience in the transportation industry. Both men had spent many years driving over the road, missing family events and milestones – some their own – and they dreamed of a job that would provide decent pay without sacrificing a home and family life. They continued to work hard, driving endlessly, missing more events because in truth, trucking was providing a lucrative living for both. But after years of driving, their home lives suffered, the hours were long and they were on the road forever it seemed.
Vince and Ira would admit a trucking job isn’t all bad. Both have seen parts of the country they might not have visited if not for the trucking routes they traveled. The United States is beautiful, breathtakingly so, and along the way many drivers form long-lasting friendships with others like themselves.
Continued hard work. dedication and on-time deliveries earned the men a solid reputation with other trucking companies. Through one of those relationships they were able to pool their resources together and Cool-Air Trucking as it is today, was formed.
In 2012 Jay Rienke came on board and he is now manager/driver. Today all three work to provide their drivers with a trucking experience that gets them a good wage without sacrificing their home and family life.
